The initial vendor agreement is for 6 months. After that, it automatically converts to a month-to-month lease.

Yes. A security deposit equal to one month’s rent is due when the lease is signed. This deposit reserves your space and becomes your last month's rent when 30 day notice is given.

Rent is due on the 1st of each month. Payments received after the 5th incur late fees.

Yes. A 10% commission is taken from monthly sales, along with a 4% credit card processing fee.

Vendors are paid by check on or after the 10th of the following month. Checks may be mailed if the vendor provides a self-addressed stamped envelope. All checks must be cashed within 90 days.

Yes, electric is available for an additional $5 per month.

Yes. Burlap & Lace hosts approximately 30 events per year. Vendors are expected to work a minimum number of events or provide staff/supplies.

• January–May: 2 slots

• June–October: 2 slots

• November–December: 2 slots

If expectations are not met, a $20 fee per missed slot will be added to the end of the volunteer period.

All merchandise must be approved by management and comply with local, state, and federal guidelines. The marketplace reserves the right to remove inappropriate or unapproved merchandise.

Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise and personal liability insurance.

Burlap & Lace is not responsible for theft, fire, or personal injury related to vendor merchandise.

Burlap & Lace Marketplace is not responsible for merchandise that is damaged by customers while in the store. Vendors are responsible for their own inventory and assume the risk of customer handling.

Yes. Booth sharing is allowed; however, only one vendor number will be assigned to the space. The primary vendor is responsible for all inventory, sales tracking, and communication with management.
